1st Build A Blossom project

Wow!!! I simply love these punches! I had some scraps of paper from one of my many shaving cream sessions :) and I used the Build A Blossom set and punch to design this card. I also used our new Tulip border embossing plate and ,boom, I have a rather elegant card (it's elegant for me....)
Since this is Sale-A-Bration time, it is the BEST time to have a party and get these times FREE*. Call me today to schedule your party at 303-908-8504.

Inspired: Frame using Retired Designer Series Paper

I made this frame using up some of my retired stash of Designer Series Paper, some our awesome (no, really, it is awesome!) textured paper, a chipboard flower covered in craft ink and Iridescent Ice embossing powder,  a retired punch (BoHo Blossoms), some white ribbon and our Rhinestones in the middle of the flowers.  I made it for my niece, Tracy who is a fantastic artist/painter. The frame has tons of sparkle in it, but that doesn't seem to show up in the picture at all. The flower itself is ALL SPARKLE and the colors just flow together so nicely. I love that all of our products coordinate together, stamps, punches, colors, well, EVERYTHING! It makes putting together a project fast, easy and fun......what could be better?

Welcome to Stock Show!

It's January in Denver, that means cold weather and Stock Show is in town. This will be my daughter's last Stock Show with Westernaires. :(

It all starts with the Stock Show Parade which is always fun to photograph. We will actually have a herd of Longhorn Bulls running down the center of a downtown street! It's like the running of the bulls in Spain only under much more control. It's a fairly long parade with most of the Show Show acts being represented and it's always great to see the children's faces when the horses and bulls come by.
I always take pictures with my big camera, but I will try to get a decent shot with my phone so I can upload it as it's happening. It'll be just like you're there with me.....TTFN.

Happy New Year!

I don't usually make resolutions for the New Year but I am making an exception this year. This is the year I go from a "hobby" Demonstrator to a "business" Demonstrator. I have been job hunting for the last 6 to 8 months and I haven't been able to find a position that offers the benefits and opportunities that my very own Stampin' Up! Business allows me. Don't get me wrong, there are some great jobs out there......and for every 1 position there are 1or 2 hundred qualified people applying for it. I may not have a degree, but I love stamping, scrapbooking and, well, anything to do with Stampin' Up! I love getting together with all of you, doing a couple of stamping projects, laughing and just having a great time.
When I think of it.......I already have my "perfect" job.
So, now I'd like to thank all of my wonderful friends, family and the best customers in the world for helping me see the light. Bless you all!
